Margaret Larson was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She found a love for art at a young age, and began her exploration into ceramics at an early age. She graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with an Associates in Fine Arts, and graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts with a Ceramics focus from Guilford College in December 2019.
After receiving the Studio Potter Apprenticeship grant, Margaret worked as an apprentice for Kate Waltman at The Triangle Studio in Seagrove, North Carolina.
She recently completed a two year residency at the Worcester Center for Crafts, and is currently an Artist in Residence at Access Arts in Columbia, Missouri.
